BAMBOO PLY
Bamboo ply is the ideal substitute for wood. Very gorgeous and
elegant, it turns your interiors into marvelous creations of art. The raw bamboo
reeds from the evergreen forest are transformed into netted mats with the magic
hands of the artisans. Bamboo ply is made from a 100% renewable resource, which
saves precious rainforest cabinet and hardwood timbers. Bamboo is a fast-growing, land-efficient plant, with excellent
properties. It is an easily-harvested plantation product with incredible tensile
strength. Bamboo, owing to its high tensile strength, low extensibility,
considerable heat and fire resistance and long staple length, is suitable
for making such boards. Tensile strength and compressive strength of
bamboo in the longitudinal direction are approximately 100 per cent and 10 per
cent higher than that of wood. These unique properties of
Bamboo have been put to good use in the manufacture of strong bamboo ply. The
zigzag pattern and the natural golden yellow colour make the product unique.
