We have had over 20 years trading experience and have imported and exported a variety of products which includes furnishings, seafood, meat and building materials. We are working closely with the producers to develop and supply new designs and exclusive ranges in homewares and accessories. Although our main business is to export direct from our factory in India , Indonesia or Thailand by 40’ high cube container , this being the most cost effective way, we are also able to ship smaller quantities from our warehouse in Perth should you require to do an initial test to check out our packing ,quality or customer response prior to placing a container order. We can continue to supply smaller quantities on a regular basis from Perth should you require , but it is not the most cost effective way..
Our warehouse in Western Australia is ideally suited to supply the rest of Australia as we take advantage of back loading freight rates to dispatch large or small consignments. The lower overheads in this state results in lower prices for our goods including freight to the east which means better margins for the customer.
Most of the problems encountered by importers sourcing from India stem from the fact that the Indian exporter sources from several producers to make up the order which often results in inconsistent quality and a lack of claims procedure. totalink merchants , as the exporter , will coordinate supply from two major producers procuring timber from company owned forests which is then milled and seasoned in company owned plants prior to final production, finishing and packaging in waterproof waxed cardboard which minimizes damage during transport. The containers are stuffed at the factory itself ,where a final check is carried out.
