TRADITIONAL THAI PILLOW

This is a traditional Thai pillow and reclining matress. Known in Thailand as 'mon khwan', this translates to axe pillow, with references to it's triangular shape resembling the blade of an axe.

The triangular cushion has become an indispensable part of leisure life in a Thai home, and even in a monks dwelling. It is not unusual to find this big triangular cushion among the annual offerings to the temple in a Kathin ceremony.

This large design incorporates the triangle pillow and three folding cushions. Full body length when unfolded, this size is perfect as a lounger when relaxing in the living room, conservatory or garden. It serves as a mattress anywhere in the house if a friend needs a place to crash, and is ideal as a floor pillow for relaxing whilst reading or watching TV.

For easy storage this soft pillow folds to a compact 60cm h x 50cm d  x 60cm w. The largest size has a length of 1m 70cm when completely unfolded.

As you can see by the pics,  the largest size has 3 bases folded underneath. The Bottom picture indicates a 3 base pillow completely extended. You can imagine the 2 base and the 1 base folding out as a shorter length.
